Article One – Purpose of this Order
The present Order determines the procedures of suspension of a terrorist organization and modalities for the appeal against such decision.Article 2 – Powers to suspend
The Inspector General of Rwanda National Police shall suspend a listed terrorist organisation and their sponsors made by the Financial Investigation Unit.Article 3 – Administrative appeal
The administrative appeal on the decision of suspending a listed terrorist organization taken by the Inspector General of Rwanda National Police is lodged to the Minister having the Rwanda National Police in his/her attributions.Such an appeal shall be received if it is lodged in a period not exceeding fourteen (14) days after publication of the decision by the Inspector General of PoliceThe Minister having Rwanda National Police in his/her attributions, after receiving the appeal shall take a definitive decision within seven (7) days from the date of receiving the appeal.If the Organization is not satisfied by the decision taken by the Minister, the Organization will submit their complaint to the competent courts.Article 4 – Repealing provision
All prior provisions contrary to this Order are repealed.Article 5 – Commencement
This Order comes into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda.History of this document
