Ministerial Order determining the Modalities of Transfer of Five Percent (5%) of Gross Annual Income that the Organ in Charge of Tourism Gains from Tourism Activities to the Special Guarantee Fund (SGF)

Ministerial Order 18 of 2012

The Minister of Trade and Industry;Pursuant to the Constitution of the Republic of Rwanda of 04 June, 2003 as amended to date, especially in Articles 120, 121 and 201;Pursuant to the Law n° 52/2011 of 14/12/2011 establishing the Special Guarantee Fund for accidents and damages caused by automobiles and animals (SGF) and determining its mission, organisation and functioning especially in Article 16;After consideration and approval by the Cabinet in its session of 27/06/2012;HEREBY ORDERS:

Article One – Purpose of this Order

This Order determines the modalities of transfer of five percent (5%) of gross annual income gains from tourism activities by the Organ in charge of tourism to SGF.

Article 2 – Modalities of transfer

The Organ in charge of Tourism shall transfer to the SGF five percent (5%) of the annual gross income that it gains from tourism activities.This transfer is made once every financial year in the first quarter of the following financial year.

Article 3 – Commencement

This Order shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Rwanda.
