Article One – Purpose of this Order
This Order determines an organ responsible for providing necessary means for repatriation of the victim of crime of trafficking in persons to Rwanda and modalities for their allocation.Article 2 – Organ responsible for providing necessary means
The Ministry in charge of foreign affairs is responsible for covering the cost of transportation and other necessary means for repatriation of a victim of the crime of trafficking in persons to Rwanda.Article 3 – Modalities for allocation of necessary means
The Ministry in charge of foreign affairs provides annually the budget to cover the cost of transportation and other necessary means for the repatriation of the victim of crime of trafficking in persons to Rwanda.If a victim who is of Rwandan nationality or had the right of permanent residence in Rwanda by the time he or she was trafficked is identified abroad or in a transit country, the Ministry in charge of foreign affairs collaborates with other relevant institutions in the country and abroad and pays the necessary cost to repatriate him or her to Rwanda.Article 4 – Authorities responsible for the implementation of this Order
The Minister of Justice and Attorney General, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Minister of Finance and Economic Planning are entrusted with the implementation of this Order.Article 5 – Commencement
